Fat Dog unleash new song “Wither”

Fresh from their four delirious shows at Glastonbury last month, Fat Dog release new single “Wither” from their forthcoming debut album WOOF. (due Sept 6th). Kicking things off with a propulsive drum roll, “Wither” captures the intoxicating energy of the band’s live show as frontman Joe Love builds up to a manic crescendo: “You better wither baby before you die / The whole team withers / The whole team dies.” 

The video directed by Ryan Vautier and inspired by 90s video games is knowingly awash with unnecessary somersaults and wonky graphics. With a nod to Chris Hughes (keys/synth) and Morgan Wallace’s (sax/keys) onstage dance to “Wither”, the gameplay sees the five-piece traverse different worlds meeting bone dealers and singing skulls to come together and fight the final boss Gerald. Will the whole team survive? 

Alongside the announcement, Fat Dog have confirmed several new instore dates including a second show at London’s Rough Trade East.
